Thanks for the assist

Basketball coach John Wooden once told his players that when someone passes you the ball and you score, look back at them and give them a wink, a nod, a high five…say thank you.

A player asked: Coach, how will we know they’re looking at us?

Coach said, they always do.

Be that person who thanks those around you for helping you make your shots.

Over and over, say thank you.

Why?

Because they’re looking for it.
